The Philadelphia Flyers have re-signed defenseman to a 5 year, 5.15 million per year contract. First reported by Maher Media.
Impact: Cam York will continue to hold down the first defensive pairing for the Flyers along with Travis Sanheim.
This signing is seen as a very team-friendly deal. York is coming off a down year scoring 17 points in 66 games. However, York’s main value comes in the way of being an extremely effective defensive-defensman.
