The NHL released all 32 team schedules yesterday afternoon.
NHL hockey opens up on October 7, as the defending champion Florida Panthers host the Chicago Blackhawks at 5P.M. on ESPN.
The Flyers, however, will need to wait until October 9 to begin their season, when they face off against the Florida Panthers on the road.
